Hi Long,
There are a few solutions out there. Most are listed on this web site. The vendors we hear about the most are Pipeline Software, Impress and LaborLogix (used to be LaborLogix)… in no particular order of priority. I have heard good things about all of them. The only one I have actually seen was the Pipeline product which seemed to work really well.
Good luck!

Ray, Long and Bill,
Hi. I’m, Sue Gibson, the marketing director for TCR. I was doing some googling and saw this web-site and would like to tell you about Xchange (integration between SAP and Primavera) and how great a solution Xchange is.
Alot of other companies (SAP, Primavera, Pipeline)have or are developing interfaces, but ours is the most effective for maintenance and shutdowns/turnarounds, least complex for the planners/schedulers, (so they use it), and the most cost effective (usually about 2/3 less price than any other solution).
Why? Because Xchange is an ABAP program, installed as a basis transport and correction, resides under ‘My favorites’ in SAP. Essentially, Xchange is a pre-mapped screen selection in SAP that directly populates Primavera and brings data back to SAP. It is on-demand or can be scheduled. So no middleware, no interfaces, no complex mapping, no upgrade issues, little to learn. Installing takes less than an hour, and training is usually a day or two. And it works with almost any version of SAP, along with the old and new versions of Primavera.
And we’ve now introduced NOVUS-Enteprise Project Visiblity, which is the future of project management. NOVUS delivers project solutions for the enterprise through the genius and ease of using operational business intelligence. The reason I mention thism is Xchange coupled with NOVUS gives the most sophisticated users/Enterprises the best information possible transending most of the shortcomings of project management issues today. I’d like to show any of you either or both of these solutions.
Please feel free to email or call me. Both Xchange and NOVUS are favorite subjects of mine.
